PDFPro Admin Tools - Overview

PDFpro Imposition sets a new industry standard in automating imposition for Print-On-Demand orders. PDFpro Imposition gives you desktop like controls in a Web-based application to allow you to fully customize and control your imposition layouts. Create and save templates, and modify them on the fly for custom jobs, keeping template creation and management to a minimum. It is so simple to learn that your team will be creating imposition jobs in no time.

Set up manual pagination jobs or automatic pagination jobs based on quantity or a mailing list. Templates can be set up so that they are imposed in postal order one behind another on each form so when cut on the knife each stack will be in sort order. If you have a Digital Press that supports duplex mode and you would like to print fronts and backs at the same time then you are in luck, because we support duplex mode in our Imposition module. The imposed document or documents merge together at incredible speeds into a finished optimized PDF. Depending on the total amount of pages you want in each file you might choose to set page breaks to take advantage of batching. If you would like a choice other then the standard Optimized PDF files when imposing, drivers can be customized to your specs.
