PDFPro is an effective and dependable high-speed
variable data merge engine that controls the overlaying of
multiple PDF template files atop on another, replacement of
text, color and graphic content with speeds recorded over
1,500 PDF pages a second. The merging of PDF files is part
of an automated process therefore lends itself to highly responsive
and highly productive workflows. The PDF templates can come
from any standard Graphic Industry program like QuarkXPress,
PageMaker, Indesign and Illustrator and are tagged or "marked
up" using a simple Acrobat plug-in.
When deployed through a PDFPro Print Center it provides complete variability
of text and graphics while simplifying and improving the process of creating,
proofing, ordering and processing print jobs. Your customers can choose templates
and images from a library, change content, and see a proof on screen immediately.
The circular review/revise workflow is confined to the end user and his or
her web browser, and follows their own time frame. There's no need for the
customer to wait for revisions and no need to invest expensive design resources
in each revision cycle. The product that flows into production uses pre-approved
content (that is known to be printable!) and has already been proofed and accepted
by the user.
